Zuny, which means "funny zoo", specializes in creating unique and whimsical animal creations, home-made from leather. The small Taiwanese company started solely from the minds and imaginations of the Zuny designers. They create lovable figurines in the hopes that they will bring a smile to your face and make your day just a little less stressful. What is a Zuny Creation?
The Zuny collectibles, or friends, resemble little stuffed animals, designed for children and adults alike. Their creations are designed to serve one of several purposes. Depending on which item you buy, they can be used as book ends, paper weights, memo-clips or simply adorable decorations for your classroom, bedroom or your desk at work. No doubt they will be noticed and start a conversation. Zuny products are hand-made and each portrays their own unique characteristics.
They are made from a combination of PU leather, polyester fiber and iron sand. The sand gives the animals weight so that they can serve as bookends, paperweights or even door stops. Large in design, most animals are around 25 cm in length, and 14 cm in height and width.
Zuny Series Collections
There are two series to the Zuny collectibles – Zuny Classic Series and Zuny Series. The Classic Series features their most original designs. Some of the animal designs include a lion, zebra, sheep and penguin. In the Zuny Classic Series, the animals display the natural colors of the leathers, including brown, black, tan and white. They are also a more accurate representation of each animal in regards to detail and color.
With the Zuny Series, the animals are more whimsical and fun. They come in more vibrant colors such as purple, teal, blue, green, yellow, pink and orange. With a limited production of 9999 products, each Zuny animal has a unique name.
Zuny Box Packaging Design
Artists and designers will appreciate not only the Zuny animals, but the box packaging in which they come in. That's because each collection box is beautifully designed and is crafted to open up as a beautiful environment and home for the animal. Each product also comes with a Zuny manual that contains the ID and date-of-birth of your Zuny animal.
